Coleman Queen Size Double Quickbed

The Coleman Translucent Twin Quickbed with 4D Pump is an inflatable bed that is principally intended for comfortableness and temporary use, but numerous humans do use it as their primary bed. Standard sheets fit on the mattress and the top is a soft suede. The mattress also features coils that conform to your body’s shape. The bed when inflated is 74 x 39 x 8.5 inches. Air is without apparent effort added by using the included rechargeable 4D QuickPump.

This bed features Coleman’s Airtight System, which is a double lock valve (which opens wide sufficient for fast inflation and deflation) and a PVC formula that is designed to be significantly puncture immune and capable to withstand much pressure.

I purchased this bed as a “quickbed” for guests. It does not take up a lot of space, looks nice, and I find it to be comfortable and when I lie on it. I particularly detect how there are no pressure points, not similar to a heap of conventional mattresses. I also thought it inflated quickly and I also cherished that the pump may go in reverse to deflate the bed quickly.

I found it to hold air reasonably well, but I noticed that I did have to add at least galore air each few nights to maintain the proper pressure. Some owners, however, report severe air loss on an closely nightly basis. This may be a problem with the air pumps.

Be cautioned that if you inflate and deflate the mattress often, you will somewhat speedily go through the D batteries, which are rather expensive. However, the battery powered pump is great if you take the bed camping since you may speedily and effortlessly inflate the bed without calling for any electricity.

About Coleman
More than 100 years ago, a young man with an entrepreneurial spirit and a better idea started out developing lanterns in Wichita, Kansas. His name was W.C. Coleman, and the company he founded would modify life in America. A man plagued with such poor vision he now and then had to ask classmates to read aloud to him, Coleman saw a brilliant light in 1900 in a drugstore window that stopped him in his tracks. He inquired with regards to the light inside and came upon he was competent to read even the little print on a medicine bottle by the illumination. The lamps had mantles, not wicks, and were fueled by gasoline under pressure rather of coal oil. Soon afterward, Coleman started a lighting service that offered a “no light, no pay” clause–a big step forward for merchants who were burned by inferior merchandise that seldom worked–and drew significant interest from businesses that wanted to keep their lights on after dark.

In the ensuing years, Coleman expanded it is product line well beyond lanterns. The company’s current catalog is thick with productions that make spending time outdoors a pleasure. There are coolers that keep feed and drinks cold for days on end, comfortable airbeds that won’t deflate for the duration of the night, a finish line of LED lights that last for years, powerful portable grills that cook with an authentic open-grill flame, and much, much more. Coleman has veritably fashioned much of our outdoor camping experience, and expects to do so for generations to come.

5Guest bed
By J. Valenza
Very happy with this bed.The height, 18”, makes it perfect for those of us no longer able to get up off the floor so easily. Have used it for 2 guests, first just an overnight, next usage was for 3 nights. The mattress stayed firm, no leaking. Easy and quick to inflate. To deflate I let the majority of air to escape by opening the plug and then used the electric pump to extract the remainder of air. By getting all the air out I was then able to refold the mattress small enough to fit on my linen closet shelf…right next to my guest towels!
Only negative is the edges do remain mushy and not supportive as you sit on the edge of the bed.Not a big deal.

3a little disappointing
By Joker
I purchased this because the Coleman name has always meant good quality to me. The bed only lasted about a dozen uses before it began to leak air right at the seam. We didn’t use it that often so the return from Amazon was already over, so I had to go directly to Coleman and they sent a new one out right away, of course I had to cut out the bad section of the bed and send it to them.

5Great product!
By yamahardr02r6
This air mattress is great. For the past year I have had the same mattress (belonging to my brother) in my car with me at all times. It has come in handy on countless occasions, wether it be camping, roadtripping, or even just deciding last minute to crash at a friends house. I had to buy one for myself b/c eventually my brother wanted his back! This mattress inflates within minutes and is more comfortable than many standard mattresses. It is also very quickly deflated and easily wrapped for transport and storage.

I would recommend buying a pad or open flat sleeping bag to lay underneath you, depending on where you are using it because with the air being underneath you it can get quite chilly!

Great product! Speedy delivery!
